myMasjid began when its founder, a web developer, took on the responsibility of managing his local mosque’s website. Despite his expertise, he struggled to keep the site updated with timely information. This led him to wonder—if even a professional faced such challenges, how could other mosques, often without trained staff or volunteers, manage an effective online presence?

Masjids are at the heart of the Muslim community, serving as hubs for worship, education, and support. Yet, many mosques struggle to provide the level of service their communities need. Outdated, hard-to-navigate websites lack essential, relevant content. This inspired a “Eureka!” moment: why not create a platform that could manage and update thousands of mosque websites at once, making each one accessible, current, and valuable?
